Move In

On behalf of the Association of Residence Halls (ARH), we would like to welcome you back to Illinois State University. Soon you will be returning to your home away from home. Living in the residence halls has numerous advantages, and there are always more to discover.

Move-In is an exciting time on our campus. We are already starting preparations for your arrival as well as the arrival of your peers. As we prepare, here are a few things to note:

  1. If you are a returning student, please sign up to help new members of the Redbird family unload their vehicles and settle into their rooms. You can sign up to be a Curb Bird by checking out the link below to learn more about the position.
  2. Thank you for your interest in being a curb bird, but we are looking for returning students! If you are a brand-new student to ISU, be sure to check out Housing's Move-In Website for the most up-to-date information!

There are many ways you can get involved in ARH. We would like to encourage you to do so! Each area of campus has multiple opportunities for involvement. Talk with your RA, Professional Staff member, or ARH representative about these opportunities.
